---Installation Instructions:
- Insure that axle flange and hub sealing surfaces are clean, flat and free of any dirt, sand, sealant, old gasket material or other debris.
- Do not use silicone or other sealants, the D.A.M.M. Flange Gasket has built in sealing beads which will provide leak–free performance, use of additional sealant will allow flange to hub movement and will void the warranty.
- On 8 and 12 bolt flanges use cross patterns to tighten flange bolts, on 6 bolt flanges use triangle patterns to tighten bolts.
- Re-use: with the D.A.M.M. Flange gasket in place, mark the position of the locating tab before removal so the gasket can be re-installed in the same “clocking” as the initial installation. This will insure that the gasket is re-aligned with machining marks, nicks and other surface imperfections.
